• 2005: start in Croatia with the opening of the first INTERSPAR hypermarket in Zadar

• 2007: start of the wholesale center in Zagreb

• 2009: acquisition of four Ipercoop hypermarkets in Zagreb, Osijek and Split-Kaštela

• 2009: transformation of the first Ipercoop outlet into a modern INTERSPAR hypermarket

• 2009: opening of the first INTERSPAR hypermarket in Croatia

• 2009: opening of the first SPAR supermarket in Varaždin

• 2010: transformation of all Ipercoop markets into INTERSPAR markets
